Things you need to know about Natural History Museum London
About the Natural History Museum
The museum is used in a very impressive building, which already exists since the mid 19th century. Overall, the museum offers you more than 70 million Individual objects that exist to be admired. Particularly impressive make this the countless skeletons of animals that no longer exist today. In the entrance hall you set right the skeleton of a huge dinosaur in the other halls you expect more skeletons of dinosaurs, whales and other creatures. All objects that are exhibited there, have a special relationship to nature and are divided into a certain epoch of evolution. Many exhibits are still the former scientist and collector Hans Sloane. The museum has many different rooms with different priorities, such as Life, Earth, Darwin or Wildlife. Incidentally, there is in the museum several smaller cafes / bistros, where you can drink and can eat.
Admission to the museum and Opening Times
Admission to the museum is usually free, but it is asked for a smaller donation at the entrance, this should be about 5£. There is one or the other temporary exhibition, which will cost a little inside the museum. But these are mostly smaller sections; by and large you do not need as absolutely pure (my opinion). The museum is open daily from 10.00 am – 17.50 clocks.
