The Royal Windsor Horse Show, situated just outside London at the world-famous Windsor Castle (a royal residence), will see a mixture of horse-jumping competitions, showing championship classes, horse displays and a variety of other equestrian competitions. The Royal Windsor Tattoo event takes place at the same time as the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
Equestrian competitions include: DAKS Mounted Games, Shetland Pony Grand National, Skill at Arms and Tent Pegging. Look out for ‘The Musical Drive of The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery’ – a series of daring moves carried out at varying speeds to dramatic music.
You can do many things there including watching different types and style horse races and shopping. Locals also set food stalls to serve street food. The event is based on horse racing, so expect to see almost all type of horse racing styles there including exclusive horse jump shows.
